Extra Juicy specials on -advmethods now!

edited February 2005 in Folding@Home
I see these p1475 work units are now on -advmethods for you all to scarf down. If you thought the p11xx series were good, you will absolutely fall in love with these wu's! :D

The only problem I've run into with them is that EMIII doesn't seem to be able to record their stats for some reason. It tracks the wu while it's folding but it doesn't keep a record of them. :(

Anyways, check this screenshot out from my A64 machine's folding output on them: :D

Speak of the devil. I just finished a 600 pointer and then got one of those babies dropped on my lap.

    On Sally's main computer.

    P4 3.4Gig LGA775. O/C to 3.73Gig HT
    2 x 512 DDRII 533

Bottom one is a bit slower due to normal usage for other things. :)

I'd love to get my hands on those babies!
I just fired up the A64 rig again and this 3000@2.6 seems to be stable so far and the 600 pointer takes 26 minutes per frame while on the Barton rig, it takes 40 minutes per frame at 2 ghz. These A64 are mighty powerful crunchers. If i could get those WU's, i reckon it would take 16 hours for those WU's.

Hey mack  ...we've been getting these with the -advmethods flag.

are these wu's reaching an end?

    p1319: 343 points at 17:34 per frame on a 2.4GHz Mobile Barton.

1,968 points per week. The best I have seen from any of my computers.

Same WU at 100% CPU usage.

I havent seen anyone post anything any higher for one CPU. I know mudd has a 2.0 Dothan. I'd like to see it 4k/week from one CPU. That would be awesome.

Someone with a nicely OCed A64 needs to beat this. I mean its my laptop and is only 1.6GHz.

I've seen scores like that on my computer, but found that it was due to a frame ticking over right as EMIII was starting up. Then the program goes OMGWTF - a frame in only 3 seconds!!!!111 and thinks the whole WU is going to go that fast.

...prof makes a note to avoid the AOL translator thread from now on... :p

wow, I don't know whats up with me but on my laptop if I use -advmethods flag it tried to get work from 171.65.103.156 which never give's me any work. I let it try for like three days but as soon as I took the -advmethods flag out I got work right away.

Looking out on the server stats yesterday the server showed as full and accepeting but it sure wasn't giveing me any WU's to do...

Anyone else have any problems like that?

    Thanks,
