THANKS for the HSA removal help!!!! - 1 suggestion
Just wanted to THANK those of you who created the HSA removal guide. It took me a few tries but I managed to finally get rid of it! There is one thing I would like to point out however and since I am new at this feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
If you have established multiple users accounts in windows XP, it seems that you not only have to apply the removal guide/steps to just a single account, but you have to log in to each account separately and go through the entire procedure for each specific user. I had removed the HSA hijacker from the account which was infected by confirming it was gone with HJT, but running HJT in another user account confirmed it was still ther in the other account. I went through the procedure again in that account and it was removed.
THANKS ALOT AGAIN FOLKS! THIS IS A VERY WORTHWHILE AND HELPFUL FORUM WITH VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE IT SEEMS (it is also the first one I've ever signed up for, but I am sure to continue reading your posts if I need further help with anything else)!!!
