30 x 600MHz Durons.

I administrate the computers, I got them donated to the school, I set security policy. I say FAH is secure.

They'll be going under my name.

Hope this is to the team's liking.

Yeah, those Duron 600's will overclock to an 800 with no problems whatsoever, in my experience. That would net you another 6 GHz of folding power.

    Great work, Thrax.

EDIT: Do those mobo's allow you to set the fsb speed? That's the easiest way to overclock those little fuggers.:vimp:

Flash with a modded bios and you can safely use 147mhz fsb. After that you need better cooling on the nb. Do you want to apply some artic silver to 30 pc's? ;D;D;D

be sure to have the 18 duron ghz running 3Dnow boost. and acknowledge that little voice in the back of your mind saying "now I just need to get 30 palominos donated"

    have fun with the farm!

3dnow boost = -forceasm or another, newer switch?

//EDIT: Got v3.25, turned -forceasm off, and shaved 3 minutes per frame.

3dnow! boost was implemented when some AMDs were having problems with AMDs implementation of SSE on the Athlons. So with the newest core_78, 3dnow! is default so thats the reason for 3.25. Just a way to get SSE on AMDs

You just might give WuG some competition. :)

I'm thinking at least 1500 points a day. Although, one would wonder if the schools hosting service would complain about the bandwidth usage, although, how much can 30 computers use just with F@H?

I doubt the school would even notice the bandwidth.
