Pc Restarting Please Help

Hi all , For some reson my pc keeps restarting itself when i boot it up it can stay on for 10 mins sometimes it will stay on an hour then all of a sudden will just close down and restart windows , as anybody got any ideas why it may be doing this? its doing my head in. cheers guys and thank in advance.

    Some possibilities

    A) You have a faulty power supply, but that would shut down your entire system rather than restarting. This is unlikely but possible
    B) Your CPU is dying or overheating.
    C) You have a virus.
    D) You've installed Service Pack 2 (ok, joke on this one, but SP2 has given me problems so I took it off).

    Run memtest-86.
