can't install win xp= novice blunder

edited January 2005 in Science & Tech
new to the forum, so a big hello to everyone, hope i'm on the correct part of the forum for the help i need.
I'm a novice as will soon become clear. my sister bought a 2nd hand pc (amd, 400mhz, 150 ram) it came with xp pro installed but no disk, she wanted xp home installed(legit) so i said she could have mine as i had bought xp pro.

but halfway through installing xp home on her pc it stopped because the xp home was registered to my pc, so now whenever she switches on her pc it gives you the option to press F1 to continue with the xp home setup(but it wont continue, error message 1,) or press del to enter bios setup.

I thought my best bet would be to install my xp pro on my sisters pc, when i enter bios setup to set it to boot from CDROM, next to boot sequence it has
C,A,SCSI, so i pressed F1 and an available options box came up with CDROM,C,A and C,CDROM,A,
But i cant scroll with the arrows or the page up and down, tried every key on the board but cant get on the option i need.

any help or advice would be much appreciated, i have my sisters pc in front of me, infact had it infront of me for the last 7 hours.

cheers

jim
