Battlefield 2 Release Delayed

edited February 2005 in Science & Tech
Looks like those of you who are waiting for the next incarnation of DICE's popular first person war shooter will have to wait a little longer than expected. It was announced during an Electronic Arts Investor Conference Call on January 25th that the release was going to be pushed back.
Initially set for March, the release date is now expected to be during the second fiscal quarter of 2006, which in regular terms means April or June of this year. If you did not know, Battlefield 2 will bring the first person war experience to the 21st century. As expected, players will have a wide variety of modern weapons and vehicles to choose from; however, players will also be able to take advantage of the new "Commander Mode" to direct the action of friendly forces.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! -KF

Well it does say 2006, then April or June of THIS year. So I'm guessing (hoping) they meant 2005.
