Can "Trojan Download Virus" crash computer and destroy data
During the boot-up (memory was counting up) the computer crashed to the dreaded blue DOS System Failure Screen, the computer repair company says I have the "download trojan virus" and they are going to have to restore the data.
This just doesn't seem right. I thought trojans were just "internet redirectors and data thiefs".
Is this possible?
Any help appreciated.
Note we have Norton AV that was put on the computer by this same company. They said we needed to update every day even though we ave the suto update working...
