windows activation?

i just did a clean install of xp. is my old activation # going to work??

    As long as you didn't change out too much hardware it should.

    yeah..i've changed my video and sound card since my last activation..

    Probably won't matter, you should be fine.

    even if it does matter, all you have to do is call them. they'll supply the phone # when it fails

    now i can't activate... when i press the activate over the internet, it freezes...

    Well that's another matter altogether. Why did you decide to reinstall in the first place?
