Why does my Program Files folder pop up at startup?

for some reason i have 2 Program Files folders one is labled (x86). and the normal one always shows up when i restart.

i dont know what is going on but I am running Winxp pro x64.

i'd also like to say Hello to everyone on this forum as this is my first thread!
