I was trying to boot up an Epox 8k7a+ with a PCI video card. Everything seemed fine. I get the FF and all fans and LEDs seem normal. But the screen is blank. I tried another video card and same thing. both video cards work in another commputer. What else should I check??

Does it give you any errors. Have you tried another monitor?

The monitor works. No error codes on the LED thing.

Do you have an AGP card to test with? Maybe that PCI or AGP video setting has something to do with it since it's not giving any errors.

Sounds like a dead CPU to me. Do you have another you can test in the board?

I would concur with the dead CPU idea.

yeah I was thinking it might be something with the card. I will try an AGP card tonight. hmm the processor did work. I can switch it out too though. I will try another tonight then.
    thanks for the ideas
