Simple Folding Questions

Recently, I switched my folding PC from Windows to Fedora Core 3. Linux is quite different My computer is now running in 64bit mode. Will this have any effect on folding speed?
P.S. I've installed the F@H Linux client -- and initiated it, went through all the inital setup. Now it's sitting at a line saying "Complete 0 of 125000 steps (0%)". Is it folding? Do I just wait?
I loaded the file that they gave me in the download using Terminal, FAH502-Linux.exe. Its just sitting at Completed 0 of 125000 (0%), on a new line, doing nothing...and if I hit anything, it exits the Folding program. It is folding, correct? C'mon Linux pros! Lemmeh have it

64-bit doesnt really help I dont think as far as a 64-bit OS goes.
