IE seems to be able to load images almost twice as fast as FireFox. is there a way to speed things up?

also, some times i start up FF and i cant access any web pages. i have to close the browser and restart the program to fix it. any one else having this issue?

    I don't have that problem.

    Spyware possibly?

cant be spyware. im practically immune. my firewall even blocks spy/adware. plus i scan with spybot and ad aware. once a week. the only way i could get it is if i tried to install it. but who would want to do that?

Aren't there tweaks you can do with Firefox which changes the way the images are loaded, and speeds up the page loading process?

that seems to be a bit better, at least with browsing the forums. are there any other settings tweaks/plugins that could help even more?

WOAH! its like night and day. thanks a lot!

it would be nice if they'd add something into the setup program that lets it detect system specs, and customize the config automatically.
