asus a8v deluxe k8t800

Id like to know if this is a good motherboard to go with Asus A8V deluxe k8t800. Ive used Asus before and had no issues with it. Im not familiar with the via chipsets. Id like to hear both the good the bad and the ugly.* que Clint Eastwood whistle... :D

    Are you OCing or running (near) stock speeds. If running (near) stock the K8T800 Pro & NF3-250gb are basically the same. If your OCing, grab a MSI or Epox NF3-250gb or NF4 (PCIe) mobo

    Thx I do plan on overclocking so I ordered up the MSI.

    Understand the MSI K8N Neo2 only allows +10% over default voltage with the latst BIOS.
    Winchester v1.54 max
    Newcastle v1.65max

    I have both a asus A8v deluxe and a Msi neo2

    The asus a8vdx proformed better then the msi neo 2 ....
    But my asus a8vdx sometimes wouldnt post even @ stock settings all components tested 100%.

    what does post at stock settings mean? The local mom and pop shop here in Richmond Va is out of stock on the msi and is on back order so looks as thou Asus it is. Thanks for the info guys!! :thumbsup:
