I think you should be coming here a lot because I've seen a lot of posts about 9800 problems lately.

I agree there are several threads floating about on the topic of 9800 Pro cards w/ probs. But just think about how many more are out there that have been in service for a long time w/ no probs at all! It's kind of like the first time there was a problem with a Boeing 747 a few made it seem like it was an aircraft with a troubled past. But that couldn't be farther from the truth as 747's have logged more trouble free service hours than anything else to date. So is the same with 9800 Pro's in the vid card arena!

That looks like an interesting card! Let us know how it does.

Good job QCH ...you won't be sorry!
One bit of advice ...if overclocking the card don't leave the settings on continuously it will burn up eventually. Just use the OC settings when you want to game or something then set it back to default.
You even got teh ramsinks dood!!!

I have a ATI 128MB 9800 that I bought a year ago, and she runs fine but I have the need for another gaming rig... I figured that I would go with a PRO with the 256bit so I can really get the Memory Bandwidth over 20 GB/s. I can take the old 9800 and put it into my backup gaming rig.

I will then have 3 PC's capable of running BF:Vietnam or UT:2004 plus a server that can local host it.
