i need help with installing audio driver

i downloaded Realtek AC97 Audio Driver v5.10.00.5365 (XP64).. when i
dowloaded and unzipped it there wasn't any executable file to automatically
put the three files in the right location.... where do i need to put these
three unzipped files??

OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600

    Once the hardware is detected, try pointing Windows to any .inf files you might have. Make sure "View all files" is enabled, at least for that folder.

    Could your download have gone awry? Usually Audio drivers come with all sorts of executables, some of which you may not want or need.

    Edit: It looks like you have the 64-Bit drivers there. For WinXP Home you'll want the 32-Bit version.
