hardware hacking forums?

im looking for some forums for hardware hacking.. i dont mean hacking on computers hardware hacking like taking something and make it do something else. like i did with my fan mod using the day planner thingy and that.. anyone know of such forums? or websites devoted to it cause i would love that. thanks
