nvidia IDE SW Drivers

When installed on my rig, they seems to cause "delayed write failures". I am just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. info: Abit NF7 - s rev2. Maxtor drives, lastest chipset drivers from abit's website, downloaded and installed yesterday.

What version are they? because Abit rarely has the latest version available and there are known issues with previous versions.
