Corsair COOL

Hi.

I have just finished installing my new Corsair COOL watercooling setup.

I previously had the corsair hydrocool.

P4 3ghz Prescott @3.3ghz

ambient - 35c
prev tmps - 65c
current tmps - 50c

at full load.

    That new kit sounds like it's a lot better than the old one, Dancer. I hadn't read anything about this new kit from Corsair yet and I'm anxious to see some pics of it. :)

    I read at Hardocp about a year ago that the old Hydocool setup's main problem was the waterblock they used and replacing it with a good waterblock like a Swiftech improved performance a good bit.

    how much did that setup cost? my 5 fans are a little too noisy.

    If you'd ever hung out at Corsair's forum devoted to the Hydrocool you'd have noticed a very disturbing trend of pump failures which might explain why they dropped it altogether.

    Is it just me or does the CPU block look like a 6000 series Swiftech with a paintjob to anyone else?

    Nice setup Dancer...kinda on the busy side with all the wiring but I like it.

    I was thinking a 5000 series but I did notice that yes. Excellent block.
