It is socket A and I don't know of a way to change it.

Hey marc ...if it's the 5002 you're concerned about I'm almost 99% sure that the only difference is in the mounting hardware. I'll search some more at www.swiftnets.com to see if you can just order the correct bracket and you should be good to go.

I found the converson Chris mentioned. It converts to A64 sockets. PM me with a proposal as I am willing to work w/ you on this.

Well now knowing that Samsung is not going to make anymore TCCD chips I might have to get that first.

I was hoping to WC all my systems this summer but it was just an idea I have had brewing for awhile.

    It's been ordered!
I'm sure I'll have to wait on the gpu block goat cause theres no way I'll be able to cool the cpu and gpu with that little pump. :bawling:

I'd be very surprised if you couldn't cool both, I use (upto this weekend) a Hydor L20 in my rig & it's specs are lower than the pump you've bought. I used to use it in my DFI rig when it cooled the CPU, Chipset & GPU. It cooled them all all well, with no problems at all. The rest of the system was a Bix 120 rad, Swiftech MCW462, & Dangerden GPU & Chipset blocks.
