connection speed?

Hello guys. My connection speed is too slow, what can it be? I am on DSL.

    How are you measuring and what type of DSL do you have? The cheapest dsl is usually at least 50 to 75 percent lower then my cable for example.

    Use dslreports.com I think it is to measure the speed.

    And like was said above.... spyware/virus could be a problem have you cleaned your system lately?

    Kinda of a vague question m8. What kind of speeds are you getting? Also, are you the only computer on the DSL or do you have a network? Do you notice slow speeds at any certain time of the day?

    DSL's never test out as fast as the speed you're paying for. NEVER! And your DSL provider will have plenty of excuses why....some of them are even ligit.

    DSL Reports has the best tweaker. But when it comes down to line noise and the distance from demark hub or whatever they call it, you can't do a thing about it.

    Keep in mind, there aren't that many web sites with upload speeds oof more than a meg. So most download speed tests are really for bragging rights, nothing else.

    ur probably on a crappy package (lowest for my isp is 256/256 $25 a month canadian)

    Im fine with my bell ultra i got over its rating in my old house 4500/1000
    Im rated for 4000/800 :) new house it stays about 3800/750 :( (crappyer phoneline)
