Registry Key Delete Question...

Hi Guys,
I'm working on a paticularly nasty machine right now - had over 1000 known spyware files and keys on this machine.
Anyway, all that is left is 7 registry keys, that for the life of me I can't get rid of. The only spyware tool that sees them as spyware is MS Spyware Beta, which says it's deleted them. Yet when I re-run the scan they re-appear. Yes, they are real spyware files - ISearch, Bargan Buddy, etc
So, is there any way to delete a registy key? I tried manually deleting it thru regedit in both normal and Safe-Mode to no avail.
