Windows Update error

I just reformated my hardrive and reinstalled Windows XP because my computer was running too slow. Now its working fine except I can't download any Windows Updates. Everytime I try It tells me to download the new verion of windows update, so I do and then this error window comes up. I attached a picture of it. Any ideas?
