wireless keyboard issue

You folks have helped me before so I am wondering if you can do it again... I have a wireless keyboard and mouse (Intellitype 5.0). My mouse seems to work fine but the keyboard seems to have lost its range and for that matter its 'worthiness' and usability. I realize this hardware/software might be a bit archaic but I am wondering if anyone here can help me out. I am pretty certain it is not the batteries as there are new ones in the keyboard.

Find the button on the bottom of the keyboard that lets you search for the wireless controllers channel. Not sure what it says near it exactly but that should work i do believe.

I had looked for such a thing before my post but don't remember seeing anything. I will look again though. There is such a button on my receiver which appears to do what you suggested. I've tried it but no luck. Thanks for the suggestion though, I will le tyou know how I make out.

On the underside of the keyboard there's a small grey button in a recessed circle. Press that for about 2 seconds and you should re-gain sync. If you're running a 900mHz cordless phone in the same room, you may experience some interference. Also, if you get some high power NiMH batteries, your range may improve.

Thanks folks! All working fine now! Missed the button on my first attempt; must be the PC clean-up hangover I am experiencing!!! Once again the short media viewers and panel have come through!
