    Sucking it down now.

We'll see what they've got new. Looks like they haven't cleaned up the GUI to much.

Were they supposed to clean up the GUI? I thought it was just 64-bit instead of 32-bit.

Thanks Shorty. Unfortunately, build 1433 crashes on load immediately following the install. I tried loading it into safe mode, but the machine always reboots on "acpitbl.dat" and I don't really feel like fixing it.

I feel ya pain Dransor - I shafted my PC as I put it on a second HD but it loads crap on the primary. Mine also crashed on load and I cant load from the primary 32bit XP disk now - pile a crap from MS yet again.

    Shorty,

It looks like the download link is broken again, is there anyway you can hook me up with the ISO?

Same thing - dead link for me around 5p.m. Central Time March 6th, 2005. Windows 2003 server works for 64-bit when you try to download it. Come on microsoft - step it up! Let me know if anyone gets a working link for WinXP 64 RC2.

Well I had no problem downloading the file, it is just Microsoft's website that is down. Try for example:

Got it installed right now, running games with 64 bit catalyst drivers and 64 bit ac97 audio drivers, runs sweet, cant believe have fast compression, defraging and multitasking is.
