Are those broken or do they work?

Got Battlefield Vietnam to Work, and also Easy Media Creator 7(except for an error on the Drag to Disk). I haven't tried all aspects of Easy Media Creator, but there didn't seem to be problems loading it.

Also got Diskeeper Pro to Work.

Did you see any improvent in gameplay? Meaning how did it run for you? Did you use the ATI beta driver for vid card ? Just curious because I use my rig mainly for online games and do plan on trying out the os this weekend.

I am not a big gamer, but it appeared smooth(not choppy), using the Techconnect Driver. I played single player........I am having a problem connecting to servers, but I believe it is something that I am doing wrong. Not Sure.

I was surprised that it even ran at all, and it seems to me a good sign for Win 64 bit.

And sorry, I was replying to a previous post.

Not sure how or why, but it suddenly killed my sound driver. Halfway through an MP3 it decided it was a bad direct sound driver and stopped playing....
Just reloaded and now all is fine.

That has been reported in the MS beta forums also. You are not alone :) Mine has been fine so far (Audigy 2). Kinda waiting to see myself since I just started playing WOW under 64 bit. Seems okay so far. (It does play). Just hangs when exiting the game and you have to Task kill it.

I was reading the evaluation notice on the desktop....

Evaluation Copy. Build 3790 (Service Pack 1, v1433)

Is this what you have?

Anyway, I downloaded and installed it from MS yesterday.

I've been having some issues with both the 32bit and 64bit versions of IE. I'll go to open a second one and it will never open. Task manager shows them running, but no window. Task manager also won't kill them for some reason.

Folding @ Home 5.03 GUI works like a charm, UT2004 runs great too.

    Hi i downloaded XP64 RC2 but i don't have the serial number.

I actually got the CD from Microsoft of the first release with serial number starting with M4676-2VW7F... etc but that doesn't work with this version.

    Any ideas?

Movie Maker works fine with rc2 Build of XP x64 v.1433 but does not on Server 2003 x64 v.1433

I'm running build 1218 because Microsoft doesnt have 1433 up for download.

I've gotten Morrowind The Elder Scroll 3 to work fine, it runs fast and loads very smoothly, and heres a list of other

things I've gotten to work well:

    Yahoo Messenger
    WinRAR
    Bit Tornado
    Nero Ultra 6

Thats all I've played with so far...

    The software that didnt work:

    HP Printer Drivers
    Alcohol 120%

    Thats all so far...

And I've only had trouble with ATI's 64 bit drivers. Nvidia's seem to work at full fledge 64 bit. And if your looking for a 64 bit game, download Shadows Ops: Mercury Rising demo, and get the 64 bit patch thats available for it, havent played it yet.
