Computer won't overclock anymore.

I have had my NF-7 system running at 2200 Mhz on its 1830 Mhz Barton 2500. Last week I was doing some hardware testing and trying to figure out why another motherboard / processor combination would not work. So for a while I had an 1100 Duron running in my NF-7.

Now it won't overclock. Whenever I try to overclock it, it gives an error message saying the System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys file is corrupt.

If I start it up at the normal 1830 Mhz speed it runs fine.

What can I do to fix this?

You may have inadvertantly set the ram to tighter settings when it was at the lower speed and it can't run higher speed at those settings.
Or, your ram simply bought the farm. I have a stick that has been running at 185 for months. Last week it decided to not run over 170, reguardless of the settings.

How are your temps? You obviously had to take off and put the HSF back on. You may have not seated it properly.

    Temperatures are normal.

Changing the memory timing fixed it. It was at 2-3-3-7. Changing to 2-3-3-8 still had problems, so I put it to 3-3-3-8 and it works good now. :D
