Did I kill crazywinnings? Or is it waiting to bite me in the...

Several times in the past I have come to the forum to lurk and find out how to get yet another p.o.s. bit of spyware off my machine (Win2000). Usually I have been lucky enough to figure out the instructions for using hijack and other bits of shareware. For this I thank all of you folks out there. Today I had been following a thread from late last year and a solution posted by Buckeye_Sam. After several runs of AdAware, AboutBuster, HijackThis, SpywareBlaster, and Spybot S&D, (both in normal and safe mode, repeatedly) I was pretty sure that I had licked CWS and some of its friends.

However.........

I still get *.frame.crazywinnings.com showing up in trusted sites, and in Hijack scans. Remove using Hijack, reboot, it comes back like a bad penny. All is quiet, no hijacks attempted yet, but I still feel like any minnt now I am going to get $%*&^# in the @!! again. You know that feeling?


Here is the latest Hijack log. What are my options? Am I just being paranoid or is the spyware still out to get me? Thank you for all the past and future help.

    Back on the Desktop, double-click on the fixme.reg file you just saved and click on Yes when asked to merge the information.

    Note that since the Domains are deleted SpywareBlaster protection must be re-enabled. Spybot's Immunize feature must be used again, also have to re-install IE-SpyAd if installed.

    OK, this looks reasonable. I assume that the spaces in the text you suggest I paste are just from the parsing in the posting text editor. I'll give it a shot!

    Thanx Justlooking,

    That appeared to clean it up. I noticed that Spybot S&D has the following "immunization" bypassed
    sidestep
    new.net
    MySearch
    LSP.New.net
    Why is that? And Spybot now will not enable its browser helper. However, crazywinnings.com is gone. Most recent Hijack below. Thank you much.

    I never noticed that, but you are right. It must be something to do with that as it is fine on my end.

    Not sure why Spybot is doing that. Maybe an uninstall/reinstall will correct it. There is also a 1.4 Beta out now if you want to try that.
