Just to let everybody know for those that didn't see the adds:

CompUSA has a Maxtor 7200RPM, 16Mb cache 250Gb ATA 133 drive for $99 after a $70 instant savings (no rebate).

Staples has a special buy on Maxtor 7200RPM, 8 Mb, 200Gb, ATA 133 drive for $89 and then a $30 easy rebate for a net of $59. (I bought one of these to load my backups on to).

Good through the 26th. JUST FYI

Actually I was gonna say it probably be either. :)

Most MP3 are less than 8Mb so smaller is fine.

Most movies are larger than 16Mb so the top isn't gonna show a difference.

There has been some compatability issues reported on the 16Mb cache drives. Seems to be related to motherboard bios. Most are working now though. Just to make you aware
