Win XP SP2 Hangs od SATA HDD

I have a Epox EP-8RDA3+ motherboard with the latest BIOS
Barton 2500+@1833
512 DDR
Radeon 9600 Club 3D
1x120 GB Seagate
2x120 GB Samsung SP1213C on sil 3112 onboard SATA chipset with RAID-0
- latest driver for sil 3112
OS: Windows XP SP2

My Problem:
My computer hangs when I access the RAID device but not all the time

Can anyone please help me!!!

    I had this problem. There was some sort of conflict with existing (in my case, virtual) scsi drivers: nero imagedrive and dvd region killer. After disabling these, things got a lot better, but not completely. Uninstalling NAV seemed to do the trick.

    So see if you can narrow it down by disabling any other SCSI type drivers.
