Is there any way to force a non-windowed program to run in a window?

    Try creating a shortcut. I believe you can set it's startup mode.

    I looked at the short-cut properties, and if I pick 'normal window', it just runs in the programs default window setting, which is full-screen... The other two options would not help either:

    In programming the GUI they can force the window size and not allow resizing. They may have done that for the game.
