Help!!! I got no clue wat goin on

In addition to home search assistant, web offer, and other spyware my computer has it keeps crashing. It locks up when i click on anything on my desktop but the internet explorer. The only way i can access my computer files is through internet explorer. I also have this desktop search thing? It sits on my desktop and freezez the computer up. There is also a dr.watson post mordem debugger error message during the freezing. Is there anyway u can help? When i have to reboot, this blue screen for CHCKDSK and it checks for the files in C:/. ?huh?
