Need steps to remove MESSENGER prob!!!!!

I have that infected version of Messanger and need help locating it and getting rid of it!!! I did my spy sweeper and hijack this and have a log file, but dont know what to do with all the info I collected!! I need a step by step guild for it please??!!!!

    Hi, Spent the whole day on my problem and it was a virus. The virus sends itself as a hyperlink through a messanger conversation with a online contact, but the contact doesnt know it is being sent and when i clicked on it I knew something was wrong as i had a new program ect.. It turns out that the virus defination had not caught it because it was very new and were released later yesterday!
