laptop quality?

Is this a decent laptop with xp home,xp 64 3000+, no wireless lan, dvd rom,256 ram for $650

For the price, it seems pretty nice.

Wireless LAN can be added, more memory can be added, but CD-RW can not be so easily. I would at the very least make sure it can write CD's, if your current selection of components didn't include that already.

I've always liked the Presario's, always a safe choice in my opinion.

Just weigh up the cost of adding things like more memory and WLAN at a later date with adding it onto the general spec now.
