My photoshop is expired and I need to create a buisness logo. Is there anyway to get around it. I mean there must be some thing on your computer that doesnt let you access it again.

And if there isnt a way around it.

Is there any other programs to make good pictures (exclude paint ;D )

Thanks

Sorry, we don't support hacking and cracking here. See Rule #4 of the Short Media Forum Rules.

There are a number of programs like photoshop, such as GIMP I believe(never used it msyelf), or even Macromedia's Fireworks.

The GIMP is almost as powerful as photoshop, and it's totally free. It just takes some getting used to.

The easiest way to get around it is to pay the developers who made it. It costs about $600, its a lot, but its well worth it.

Perhaps you mean "almost as powerful as Paint Shop Pro."

The GIMP, while very capable, is not to be compared to Photoshop.

there used to be the good on clock trick, however i am sure they have stamped this out now.... Its a shame its so costly, i guess it worth it but to be honest its a huge ammount for a piece of software.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm sure they will... :D ), but it's my understanding that Photoshop Elements will do virtually everything that the average user needs. For under $75, too. :)

    http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelwin/main.html

Retail price is $99 US, yu can get it cheaper if it is on sale. It will do many of the basic photo touchup things - remove red eye, "heal" photos, etc, some basic filters, etc, plus create slideshows, etc.

    The rundown: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelwin/pdfs/psew_fhs_fnl.pdf

Definitely not a a full on image editor like Photoshop, but good for consumer level photo work.

You can get the trial version of Paintshop Pro for free and use it for creating your logo but The GIMP does sound awfully intriguing....

there are tons of freeware image editors on the web. They ain't Photoshop, but then,
nothing is. Lots of full function demos as well. But if you really like Photoshop, and who wouldn't, but can't afford it, try Photoshop Elements. It's an Adobe app and for
$70.00 at Costco, you can't go wrong
