What happened to Firefox?

I just left my PC, came back and when I opened Firefox it asked for what profile I wanted to use. Then when I got it back, all my bookmarks and everything were gone!

    Over the last year or so that has happend to me 3 times ,the last time i did a system restore and did not have to reload all my bookmarks

    Process was running became unresponsive windows tryed to get you to end task it you did . then it didnt end the process and causes firefox to thin you had it opened with the defult profile


    solution end process for firefox and relaunch :D
