AVI video works no sound

I have these AVI files that play the video fine, but no audio.

I have played a ton of avi files, and never had a problem with sound.

I am unsure what codec they use, but I have currently divx installed, but not sure if I have xvid... other xvid files play fine.

the properties of the files are bitrate 192kbps 640x480.

Can anyone reccomend a good, no nonsense codec pack? or specific codecs to play these files?

WinXP SP2 WMP10 btw.

    Look in the Codecs section of the S-M Download Page and try the All in 1 pack. :)

    You probably only needed an ac3 codec.

    hi, i ve got the same problem, but i got a Mac.
    Do you guys know if there is a codec i can download and actually install?
    macs are so special... very troublesome...
