MBR question

ok i have dual boot, winxp on one partition, redhat9 on another, using grub as the bootloader...

..wanting to install win2k3 onto/over redhat partition and dual boot winxp/win2k3...

will doing this successfully rewrite and mbr so i dont have any boot problems?...

    Yes, just make sure you format and all that happy crap. Btw, you do know that Win2k3 is a SERVER platform right?

    yup...i sure do...its meant to serve me:tongue:

    actually is was just a quick thought question...what i really wanna do is delete the redhat partition and have the space back for winXP...but i know doing this will not delete grub and i will be stuck not being able to boot to winxp...

    ...if u know a quick way to avoid this i would much appreciate it..
