TOSHIBA LAPTOP - The worst computer I have ever owned

edited March 2005 in Hardware
Not only did the Satellite M30 Toshiba laptop hard drive quit after just 11 months, but their service department refused to exchange it
Out of stock, no ETA they said
Yet, an independent shop got me a new drive in 24 hours
It cost me over $ 500 for something supposed to be under warranty
Then,to make things worse, I discovered within THEIR OWN SITE that this model is a lemon and the drives keep on crapping out
They list about 30 models
And, they mentioned nothing, naturally
They let me spend the money(how can u live without the laptop?) and advised me that a new drive will be shipped, roughly 4 weeks after the original one crapped out
What a low life firm!

if you paid anywhere near $500 for a laptop hard drive, you also got ripped off badly by the shop you went to :(
