Anyone running four sticks of ddr? Are there any probs running all four slots full? Seems some boards in the past had probs running more then two or it slowed the sticks down or something?

4 sticks should be fine, but the A64 current memory controller only allows 2t timings when running 4 sticks of double sided memory. Four single bank Dimms should do 1T though....

Timings don't matter really if its stable. I don't game or OC. I want it to read the SPD on the chip and just deal with life correctly. I don't run high end memory. I was running Geil cheap stuff and its coverred with heatspreaders so no idea if its single/double sided. Its better for me to double the amount to 2gb then run 1gb of highend crap.

    Just an update, tex.

I just built a system with 4 sticks of Corsair Valueselect (two of these), on the DFI LanParty Ultra for a total of 2gb, non overclocked, SPD timings.

It works great. Totally stable, no problems whatsoever.

Excellant prime. I was waiitng for confirmation before ordering more RAM. Mine is low end geil about like the corsair and I dont OC so I bet I am good to go with two more identical sticks sticks.

CPU is due today actually. MB was here last friday. I have a pci-e raid controller here now. The first high end scsi raid controller on this planet.

I just paid more then I ever have in my life for a video card. (long sigh...) But I have a ATI pci-e x600 ati all in wonder tv tuner job on its way supposed to arrive tomorrow. (long sigh.....)

I know thats not "high end" for a gamer boy but I don't game so when all I want to do is watch porn and run a TV tuner its a TON for me.

If you really want pics I'll start a new thread. Just ran up to get the door and my ATI all-in-wonder pci-e card is here..

As long as the CPU gets here thgis afternoon I am rocking.

Ok its 10:40 here. It's a 15 minute trip to Joe's crabshack and they not only have ice cold bud on tap but a 33 shrimp special for 11 bucks so I am friggin out of here dudes.
