Hey whats up all, anyway back to the matter at hand. I'm looking to build a micro atx rig that will be used mainly for apps like photoshop, flash, and dreamweaver, the reason why im wanting micro atx is so that i can pack up and carry over to friends house or show off at a lan party, (i like to do modding, just dont like to pay for it) I currently have an amd athalon 64 2800+ and 256 mb of memory, and get ready and dont laugh, a trident 8 mb "video accelerator". other than the vid card its pretty up to date. I'm just wanting a semi-portable rig at a descent price. id like to stick with amd..dont like intel, in my opinion theyre overpriced paper weights

So you want a motherboard and case? You have all the rest? Well a new video card as well.

I would suggest more memory. 256 is really hard to game on, let alone run much more than the OS and a few programs at once.

I would suggest the Antec Aria.

actually I just bought a MSI k8mm-ilsr MB!

Micro atx, agp and 3 pci , and a AMD 64 3000+ mobile cpu that is supposed to run a lot cooler and I'm waiting for a case.

I have 512mb (256mb x 2) of pc3200 geil memory for now. It has built in vga, sound, lan, firewire and usb 2.0 sata raid etc...

Got a dvd burner and a 250gb ide.

    Cute. Tiny. Quiet. Powerful.

    Tough combo to beat.

    Tex
