No experience with that one but it looks pretty good to me. I do have a Fortron Source psu I got from the refurb department at the egg a year or so ago and it's been flawless.

Why are you switching, out of curiosity?

the ultra x connect 4 pic plug is installed almost wrong to my mobo. the xp-90 is almost to big for it to plug in directly next to it. i mean its in but its at a bad angle. not to mention i will prolly need another psu soon

...How much would you sell it for, if you do decide to switch? :)

Another problem with the x-connect psu's is that they are made by Leadman(Powmax), which are known for their cheap ass psu designs.

I thought it was made by Ultra

Go to www.powmax.com and click on the power heading and check it out yourself. Leadman build Powmax's psu's for sure. I have an old Powmax psu and the circuit board was marked with Leadman's name.

Oh hey, good call. Never would've known that. It's not listed on their site, but my Ultra 500w (not X-Connect) is great. It's probably not made by them, but still. I just would like the modular cables of some sort... but if it's a piece of junk...
