nForce 4 Chipset For Intel Chips Coming Next Month

edited March 2005 in Science & Tech
For all the Geeks impatiently waiting for NVIDIA's release of the Intel-based nForce 4 chipset, your day is about a month away.
nVidia announced at CeBIT that it would release the new chipsets in April, bringing its SLI-enabled chipsets to Intel-powered platforms. Now it's reported that Intel itself is planning to bring support for SLI into its 955X chipset, though no one seems to know how much support will be there. Some are speculating that a peripheral chip will be required to enable the support, perhaps even supplied by NVIDIA. Either way, Geek gamers should be excited about the new nForce chipset, and perhaps the additional graphics card demand will even lower the prices for us cheap, single-GPU Geeks.
