For perfectly legitimate and legal reasons, Sticky51 wants to learn more about Bit.torrent downloading. I've never played with it myself, so I told him to post about it here...
of course he's not much of a poster (what you call a lurker) and asked me to make the request for him.
So, does someone have some information about Bit.torrent? What does it do? Where does the information for the downloads really come from? what is the advantage over other p2p? stuff like that.
Is there a good site out there that explains a lot of this stuff?
