What's up with New Post search?

Since the filter was implemented to only put the on-topic stuff on the Hot Threads list, the View New Posts seems to be off also... for instance, yesterday it said there were 6 new posts in 4 threads... when I clicked View New Posts, only 2 threads showed up in the search. Today, it says 1 new post in 1 thread... click search and no results are returned... wussup wit dat?

    Milestones are removed from the search as alot of members disliked their search being full of them.

    Never bothered me personally ;) but when there is a flood of them... it does kinda take up 2 pages :eek:
