BIOS Modding Skills

Hi EQuito.

Really nice to see this easy/simple BIOS modification.

It seems to be that you have some skills about BIOS modification,
so I have some questions:

1.)
Which CBROM version did you use?
CBROM32 (e.g. v1.03 v1.09 v1.30 v1.40) or the "normal" cbrom (1.17, 1.19, 2.20)?

2.)
Do you have knowledges about LZINT, LH5/LHA compression methods too?

3.)
Do you have skills/knowledges about the compression which is used in DELL BIOSes?
http://www.dell.com/

4.)
I am looking for people who has skills about Asus' "(Award) Medallion BIOS".

For example it seems to be impossible to load the good old "Asus K7V(T)"-BIOS into Modbin.
I already tried following versions/releases:

ModBin:
4.50.36
4.50.58
4.50.60
4.50.63
4.50.64
4.50.66
4.50.75
4.50.76
4.50.77
4.50.80c
4.50.82a
4.50.88

Modbin 6
1.00.03
1.00.12
1.00.37
1.00.38
1.00.48
2.00.00
2.00.00beta

but without success. :(
Everytime I get an errormessage "Not an Award BIOS". :(

Hi and thanks for the kind words but I'm afraid my limited skills are not enough to help you.
You should contact Tmod, author of the guide and resident bios expert.

    Good luck!

    Hi.

    1.)
Tmod does not have knowledges about this problem about Asus' "Award Medallion BIOS in ModBin" too. :(
He just uses the available tools to modify BIOSes....and he modified many BIOSes for many users.
    (like me :) )

Well, I do a litle bit more... :),
    but I need help.
Is there someone who also has ASM knowledges?

    2.)
What release/version of CBROM did you use?
