downloader

i want to create a download manager which has to be integrated with internet explorer. i have to change the default downloader in IE with mine. how can i do that? it is possible to do it by changing any windows registry? if possible how to do that?

    I can't tell you how to do it, as I don't know, but it's absolutely possible. Most third part download manager software has options to become the default downloader for IE, I presume they just modifiy the registry in someway to achieve that. Either as some sort of application forwarding key or by rewriting the ones IE uses for its download engine.

    You would need to edit the registry ...
