New Laptop

hi, you might have seen me here before, with a broken toshiba. anyway, i returned that and now im thinking of buying another laptop. anyone have some suggestions?

i would like to note my restrictions, however. i want 512mb ram, around 2.8 ghz, not a tablet pc (full size), good graphics card, the rest can be w/e.

heres the tough part - i want it under $1200.

i found an excellant sony vaio k45 for 1099 but the offer expired... (its now like $1350) anyone have any suggestions?

    btw i found out you can save like $800 on dell notebooks?!! i may consider that, since a $2000 notebook is now within reach for me :)

    My sister is looking at the same thing. If you play the rebate/discount game right you can really get a nice laptop at a great price.

    The one leishi pointed out looks pretty nice, too. :thumbsup:
