Three copies of Trillian on one LAN, and one buddy list?

edited March 2005 in Science & Tech
At home, I have 3 machines which I use. Each has Trillian Pro installed, and are on the same Windows network. I'd like to be able to have all the copies of Trillian to share the same "buddy list" file. Is there any easy way to do this?

I've already tried simply shareing the Trillian directory on the machine that contains the buddy list I'd like to use and simply running Trillian from that directory, but this will mess up Trillian's settings.

Any other ideas? I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask about this.

Is there a way to specify to Trillian where the buddy lists are located?

Well, since Trillian modifies these files while it's running, I don't think it would be able to do that. At least running at the same time.

Doesn't Trillian pull up your buddies when its run? I don't quite get what you're asking I guess, since I've only ever run it on one computer. It still brought up each buddy list for ICQ, MSN, and AIM without a hitch, however.

I have formatted the list with items that cannot be backed up to the online servers (such as metausers, and special groups).
