Stupid windows skin

hey all,
i loaded the theme "alienware ALXsuite" windows skin in windowsblinds, but i got sick of it today, so i unloaded it and put on the original skin. all's well except for the problem that 90% of my icons look like the ALX theme!! i've tried many options, loadin the theme again, then unloading it, in properties selecting windows XP theme, uninstalling all theme software, to no prevail...
does anyone have a solution?

    Try to use another skin instead of the original, I'm not sure, but I don't think the original skin has it's own icons really, or it just doesn't switch them back. Of course you can always switch them on your own.

    Hrm, just tried it, it switched my Recycle Bin(my only icon) back to the orignal. I could swear it used to keep the old icon for something.

    You might try using TweakUI. There is a repair section and one of the options is "Rebuild Icons". :)

    damn, it still doesnt work!! although i managed to fix my music, pictures and videos folders, all the normal folders and icons are still stuffed :@ argh, thanks alot anyway
