I am wondering if somebody can help a very confused individual.
After running XoftSpy I got the following info back

Vendor = Alexa
Category = Data Miner
Object =
software\microsoft\internet explorer\Extensions\{c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a}

I presume my first questions is how do I get to this directory and
secondly will I be able to delete this object? :confused:

    Get rid of XoftSpy, it is a scam. You should use a legitimate spyware remover such as Ad-Aware, Spybot:Search and Destroy, or Webroot Spysweeper. That entry is in the registry. I would reccomend not editing the registry yourself, as removing the wrong system can cause parts of your system to become unusable. I wouldn't worry much about Alexa, as its not a very dangerous piece of spyware, if its even spyware at all (some believe it is, while others believe it is not). If a legitimate anti-spyware program detects it, it should remove it automatically.
